1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the Connected Group (PTY) LTD website, platforms, and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and to comply with the applicable laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

2. Definitions

“Company” / “We” / “Us” refers to Connected Group (PTY) LTD.

“You” / “Client” / “User” refers to any person or entity accessing our website or services.

“Services” refers to Connections, Funding, Events, and Brand Activation provided by Connected Group (PTY) LTD.

“NDA” refers to the mandatory Non-Disclosure Agreement signed before any engagement.

3. Use of Services

Services may only be used for lawful purposes.

Clients must provide accurate, complete, and current information in all forms and communications.

No engagement will begin until the NDA is signed, unless one has already been completed within the last six months.

The Company reserves the right to refuse service where information provided is false, misleading, or incomplete.

4. Confidentiality & NDA Policy

All engagements require a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before documents or discussions commence.

Confidential information shared between parties remains protected and may not be disclosed without prior written consent.

5. Payment Terms

Fees, costs, or commissions related to services will be clearly outlined in a Task Order before work commences.

Payments must be made in full and on time as stipulated in the Task Order.

Connected Group (PTY) LTD reserves the right to withhold services until payment is received and verified.

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, graphics, and materials are the intellectual property of Connected Group (PTY) LTD.

Clients retain ownership of their own submitted content and documents but grant the Company the right to use them solely for the purpose of delivering services.

7. Limitation of Liability

Connected Group (PTY) LTD acts as a facilitator of introductions, funding opportunities, events, and brand activations.

We do not guarantee results such as funding approvals, event outcomes, or partnership success.

The Company shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

8. POPIA Compliance & Data Protection

All personal information collected is processed in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Data will only be used for service delivery, communication, and compliance purposes.

Clients may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal information at any time.

9. Termination of Services

The Company may terminate services if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or fail to comply with agreements.

Clients may terminate services in writing; however, fees already paid are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the Task Order.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through negotiation between the parties.

If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to mediation in South Africa.

The final jurisdiction lies with the courts of the Republic of South Africa.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

12. Amendments

Connected Group (PTY) LTD reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on this website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of such changes.
